Lodestone Horizons LLC ("Lodestone Horizons," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you purchase or use our software products — GATE, LENS, and VEIL (collectively, the "Software").
When you purchase a subscription, you provide:

For enterprise / air-gapped deployments, you may also provide a server MAC address, used solely to generate a hardware-bound license file.
License validation: When you activate your license, the Software sends a license validation request to Lemon Squeezy's API containing your license key and an instance identifier. We do not receive or log the contents of individual license validation calls. Lemon Squeezy logs these on their side in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
Usage counts: Each time you call a core Software function (e.g., assess() in GATE or LENS, negotiate() in VEIL), the Software sends a background request to our fulfillment server (hosted on Railway.app) containing your license key, the product name, and a usage count increment. This call is fire-and-forget — it never blocks your code, and errors are silently dropped. We use this data solely for subscription metering and to inform future pricing tier design. We do not receive, store, or analyze the inputs or outputs of your compliance assessments — only that a call occurred.
Website analytics: Our marketing website (lodestonehorizons.com) uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure ad performance and build retargeting audiences for site visitors. This tag may set cookies and collect your IP address, device/browser information, and pages visited. See LinkedIn's Privacy Policy for details. You can opt out via your LinkedIn privacy settings or a browser-based tracking-prevention tool. This tag does not run inside the Software itself — only on the marketing website.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising beyond the retargeting described in 2.2.

We share your name, email, company, and order details with these services only to the extent necessary to fulfill your purchase and deliver the Software.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted transmission (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit, access controls limiting who within Lodestone Horizons can access customer data, and secure credential management for third-party API keys.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
If you are located in the EU or UK, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing your data is contract performance (to fulfill your purchase) and legitimate interests (account management and support).
We are based in the United States, and the third-party services listed in Section 4 process data in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on our service providers' own Standard Contractual Clauses and data processing agreements to safeguard this transfer — each provider listed in Section 4 offers its own GDPR-compliant transfer mechanism. Where required, we will enter into a Data Processing Addendum directly with Customer upon request at privacy@lodestonehorizons.com.

The Software is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Software after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
